DIRECT PROTECT Warranty
The Direct Protect Warranty covers labor and refrigerant for refills for either 5 or 10 years (depending on the warranty you choose) and extends parts coverage to a total of 5 or 10 years (depending on the warranty you choose).** All warranties cover 1 condenser. Zones refer to the number of air handlers covered.
*Restrictions:
Direct Protect Warranties must be purchased within six months of the purchase of the system they are covering in order for the warranty to apply. The warranty covers up to the total purchase price of the condenser, air handler/cassette, and line set of the system being covered (not including the price of accessories). Coverage begins when 91 days have passed since the date of purchase of the warranty. Warranties can not be combined. Do not purchase more than one Direct Protect and/or Direct Protect Plus Warranty for the same system, as only the single warranty with the greatest coverage will be applied.
**Parts coverage under Direct Protect activates after the expiration of the manufacturer’s parts warranty and continues until it has been either 5 or 10 years (depending on the warranty purchased) in total since the date of the purchase of the unit that the warranty covers.
